When you’re riding, the last thing you want to worry about is what could go wrong. That’s why Kamingo is built with a Smart Safety Suite to keep you and your bike secure—not only during, but also after your ride.
Kamingo constantly monitors movement, for your safety.
If your bicycle tilts more than 45°, its built-in IMU sensor will automatically detect a fall, lift the assist wheel, and immediately cut power to the motor to prevent further injury or runaway movement.
Staying safe means staying in control, even when things go sideways.
It may be easy to install and remove. But it’s just as easy to lock in place—all thanks to Kamingo’s Bluetooth-operated quick-lock, which securely mounts the motor onto the base mount.
Simply lock the motor in place wirelessly via a Bluetooth connection, paired with the Kamingo app on your smartphone, and voilá, you’re the only person who can take it off.
Small debris like rocks or twigs might seem harmless, but they can wreak havoc on your system if ignored.
Kamingo’s sensors detect obstructions on your bicycle’s tire before they become an issue. When detected, the motor automatically disengages from the wheel, and you are notified with an alert on the controller screen.

Going downhill or easing off the throttle? We’ve incorporated a Regenerative Braking System (RBS) into the motor component to capture kinetic energy produced during braking or downhill rides, and use it to charge the battery and maximize your range.

Kamingo works by mounting a lightweight friction-drive motor above your rear tire, fully controllable from your handlebar.
When activated, the assist wheel on the motor drops down, presses against the tire, and spins to turn your bicycle wheel (and give you a push) as you ride.
